The objective of this module is to hone a deeper awareness of the environmental parameters of place through physical connection, and to deepen students’ creative thinking about their environment. The module is divided into three sections that foster awareness and creativity around our environment: Honing our Senses, Place Studies, and Discovery: A Movement Study. The three sections are intended to be done in succession over the course of one semester in tandem with an environmental study or science curriculum, or can be done in quicker succession as an independent ‘unit’.
